Devon Women in Business are delighted to be working with Essenza di Romagna Limited trading as ‘The Garden of Italy’ who will be bringing along 4 of their wines for tasting. Light snacks will also be provided and informal networking is encouraged.
The Garden of Italy is delighted to bring the wines from the Montaia Vineyard direct to your table.
Our wine brings you the style and class of wines of the Romagnolo area, sourced only from small family-run producers. They are wines both for special occasions also for everyday living which are not pretentious but reflect the love and the spirit of Romagna. Our wine selection is brought to you at prices which support the producer but represent excellent value when viewed against the quality of the product and the knowledge that these wines are produced with the skill, love, and care that only these small producers can provide.
We are committed to supporting these small wine producers to ensure their survival during a period in which mass producers have grown in dominance. It is our wines that bring the true style and the enduring class of Romagna. Sangiovese is the undisputed king of red wines in Romagna.
The wine tasting will be hosted by Lucy George-Foster, UK Marketing and Business Development Director, Devon and Cornwall sales and Rod Springett, Wine Club Director, Bristol and West of England sales.
DWIB Host for this event is Maureen Frost.
Please note bottles of the wine cannot be purchased at the event as the venue does not have a licence to sell but you may place orders for any that you like for delivery.
There is also an opportunity for a tour of the Arts University after the tasting.
