DWIB Simply Networking

DWIB Simply Networking is a new style event for 2024 where the emphasis is simply networking. No lunch, brunch or dinner to pay for; it’s simply networking! Although we’ll keep you going with teas and coffees, of course.

As ever it’s a women-only event with a friendly and informal vibe.

Our first Simply Networking event will be held at the Mercure Hotel in Paignton. More dates to come across the county if the demand is there!

About the venue

The Mercure Paignton is a modern seafront hotel overlooking the English Riviera and Paignton Green. The town centre is on our doorstep. Torquay is 4 minutes by train from this Torbay hotel. Seaview rooms are finished to a high standard with spectacular views of the coast, perfect for relaxing family or romantic holidays in Devon. The hotel is conveniently close to beaches and the South West Coastal Path, while Paignton Zoo, Pier and UNESCO Global Geopark are nearby for memorable days out to suit all ages.

Interior design is inspired by the 19th-century seafront houses and UNESCO Global Geopark that shape Paignton’s history. Subtle touches nod to the glamour of the English Riviera, with natural shades bringing a botanical tone throughout the hotel. Guests can find state-of-the-art equipment in our fully-equipped gym. For a slower pace, head to our modern international restaurant for a relaxing meal; in the bar, our sun terrace is a perfect place to enjoy a drink overlooking the seafront and beach.

£2.00 from every ticket will be donated to a charity chosen by the Mercure Paignton. Chosen charity is The Seal Project.
