Cheese Queens
Cheese Queens: Marie and Elise offer an amazing bespoke cheese-tasting experience for any party or occasion. Cheese Queens were DWIB Awards Finalists in the Best Start-Up category in 2024.
They talk and taste the best carefully selected cheese the West country has to offer! They can chat everything cheese in the comfort of your own home or venue. They bring it all to you! All you have to do is enjoy the finest selection of cheese they select for you. For this event, we will be tasting Devon cheeses – of course!
The Venue
Nestled in the stunning Mid Devon hills, close to the pretty hamlet of Stoodleigh, sits Hawke Barn, a 16th century former storage and threshing barn for Thorne Farm. The farm was for many years owned by Balliol College, Oxford. From the moment you turn onto the half mile private drive you will be enveloped by the peace, tranquillity, and beautiful scenery that surround you in every direction.
Today Hawke Barn has been beautifully renovated creating an intimate space for impressive entertaining for weddings, birthday celebrations or any special event or occasion for up to 60 guests.
Thorne Farm is easily accessed from the A361 North Devon Link Road, 10 minutes from Tiverton and the Tiverton Parkway mainline railway station.
But please be aware our postcode will take you past the entrance to our driveway. We do advise that you check our location on google Maps (see below) or even better use our What Three Words location which will bring you straight to out door.

- 11.00 am – Informal Networking
- 11.30 am – Devon Cheese Tasting Brunch with the Cheese Queens followed by a fun cheese quiz
- 12.30 pm – Finish
