Mental Health First Aid Training Course

Coops & Co are delighted to offer fellow members of Devon Women in Business the chance to attend our forthcoming Mental Health First Aid training course. The 4 half-day course runs from 09.30 – 12.30 on Tuesday 11th, Wednesday 12th, Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th July and qualifies individuals as Mental Health First Aiders. As an employer, prioritising the mental health of your employees is paramount to the success of your business. We can provide you and your management team with Mental Health First Aid training to equip you with the means to identify, understand and help someone experiencing poor mental health.

The course will be led by our trainer Philippa Roe and will take place online. You will be sent a link to the online training room prior to the first date wherein you join as you would a Zoom call. The sessions take the form of group discussion, slides, activities and group work during which you will be split into smaller groups via breakout rooms. 

You will be joining delegates from other businesses and have the opportunity to share knowledge and experiences to enhance your learning. Despite multiple delegates, there is the ability to communicate with Philippa privately as needed, including for additional support or to answer any personal questions you may have. Rest assured, Philippa is always mindful of all delegates while the training takes place, with the course focusing as much about learning to take self-care as it is learning to help others.
